After disclosure of “Red List”, IUCN (International
Union for Conservation of Nature), revealing that one
in four mammals is threatened of extinction and the half
those species are declining, another list about animals
threatened has just been announced.
This time the report released by BirdLife International
indicates that 1200 species of birds are threatened of
extinction, while 190 are in critical situation. The document
presented in the Nature World Congress in Barcelona (Spain),
suggest that birds are “moving faster than ever”
on the road to extinction, and the resources for its recovery
is extremely insufficient. See more!
