The volunteer that help Pick-upau is contributing to preservation, maintenance and to environmental education. To donate your time necessarily you don't need to be a specialist, so you just need to be solidary and to want to collaborate with the activities of Pcik-upau Agency. Since 1999, Pick-upau is surviving by volunteers collaborations and help. You can do the same. Being a volunteer you gain more environmental knowledge, deal with ecological and social problems and develop and learn different works.

  • Team work;
  • To be solidary and share abilities and knowledge;
  • To accomplish tasks and activities that you assume with the entity;
  • To have interest for environmental subjects, suggesting solutions and alternatives;
  • To be motivated and to have disposition to learn new abilities;
  • Be responsible, courteous and conscious in your attitudes;
  • To execute the works in agreement with the entity rules;
  • Take care of the patrimony and the material of the organization when you will use them;
  • To follow the Statute and the Internal Regiment of the entity;
  • To be honest and to respect the social aspects and the environment;

It disposes on the voluntary service and it gives other providences THE REBUBLIC PRESIDENT OF BRAZIL Do to know that the National Congress ordains and I sanction the following law:

Art. 1 - It is considered voluntary service, for ends of this law, the activity no paid, rendered per person physics public entity of any nature or private institution of ends no lucrative, that it has civic, cultural, education, scientific, recreational objectives or of social attendance, besides, mutuality. Unique paragraph: The voluntary service doesn't generate contract of employment nor obligation of labor nature, previdenciary or similar.

Art. 2 - The voluntary service will be exercised by the celebration of adhesion term between the entity, public or private, and the volunteer, of them should consist the object and the conditions of the exercise.

Art. 3 - The volunteer can be compensated by the expenses that confirms the accomplishments in the voluntary activities. Unique paragraph. The expenses to be compensated should be expressly authorized by the entity to the rendered voluntary service.

Art. 4 - This Law goes into effect on the publication day.

Art. 5 - Dispositions are revoked in contrary.

The Pick-upau Environmental Agency will supply the whole necessary material to the development the activities and it will return coming expenses of transport and feeding (external and specific activities) properly proved.

The entity reserves the right to cancel the proposal volunteer when some item from the Statute or Internal Regiment was not followed.

When necessary the organization can change the priority of the works and also request the volunteer to do others priorities activities and finally accepts the volunteer’s works or not.
